Charles Daniel Saliba recently launched his 19th book on the Maltese language, ‘Malti għall-Eżamijiet b’Pariri u Tweġibiet!’ (Maltese for Examinations with Advice and Answers).
This book, written in a friendly style for all students from Forms 1 to 5, explains how to write a good essay, how to write formal and informal letters and how to answer comprehension questions. Worksheets and exercises help students revise Maltese grammar topics, and there are specific exercises to overcome the most common grammatical errors and improve spelling, using the latest developments in Maltese orthography.
It describes in detail 4 levels of examinations: SEC (Maltese language ordinary level exam), B.Ed.(Hons.) Maltese language proficiency test (University of Malta), Maltese examination for the enlistment of soldiers in the Armed Forces of Malta (Regular Force) and Maltese examination for the post of clerk in the Malta Public Service. For each exam, there are three sample papers and a time management plan. The answers for all the exercises and sample papers are at the back of the book.
This book is now available in bookshops.
