Sacred literary-musical evening

The Philanthropic Society Talent Mosti is holding sacred literary-musical evening entitled Niltaqgħu wiċċ imb’wiċċ mal-Mulej (An Encounter with the Lord), which will be held on Sunday 21 March at 7pm.

This activity is going to be held at the Girls’ Secondary School, Maria Regina College, Mosta, next door to the Razzett tal-Markiż Mallia Tabone, Centre of National Culture, Wied Il-Għasel Street, Mosta. Alexandra Camilleri and Joe Vella will present the literary-musical evening with the participation of the well-known readers Ġorġ Peresso, Margaret Agius, Charles Abela Mizzi and Charles Coleiro. Maria Lewis will be singing accompanied on the piano by Mro Edwin Vassallo and by violinist Jean-Carl Chircop.

The activity will be dedicated to the sadly missed but never forgotten Mons. Angelo Camilleri, Spiritual Director Emeritus of the society for many years, Charles Vassallo, Honorary Consul of San Francisco, United States of America and the Honorary president of Talent Mosti as well as Victor Agius, a friend and benefactor of this society who worked very hard so that in 1998 Talent Mosti finally acquired its official premises.

Talent Mosti will also be presenting the 12th edition of the Holy Week exhibition at its presmies, featuring various artists, which will be inaugurated by the Archbishop Mons. Paul Cremona O.P.

The exhibition will be open to the public between 22 March and 4 April. between 10am to 12noon and from 5.30 to 9pm; Maundy Thursday from 5.30 to 11pm and on Good Friday from 10am to 12noon. Entrance to the exhibition is free and there is ample parking
